Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose

These terms govern the short-term rental of furnished apartments managed by SoussStays ("we") to the booking person ("the guest").

2. Booking

A booking is confirmed once both parties agree in writing (WhatsApp, email, or third-party platform) and the deposit is received. Any booking implies full acceptance of these terms.

3. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, a 30% deposit is required at booking. The balance is due at check-in or earlier, by mutual agreement. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, cash (in MAD), or payment processor.

4. Cancellation

• Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in — full refund.
• Between 7 and 2 days before: 50% of the stay charged.
• Less than 2 days before, or no-show: 100% of the stay charged.
• In documented force-majeure cases (official travel ban, hospitalization), more flexible terms are reviewed case by case.

5. Check-in and check-out

Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 11:00 AM. Adjustments are possible on prior request and based on availability.

6. House rules

• No smoking inside the apartment (allowed on the rooftop terrace where applicable).
• No pets.
• No parties or noisy events.
• The number of guests must not exceed stated capacity without prior written agreement.

7. Deposit and damages

A security deposit may be requested at check-in depending on the stay type. Any property damage observed after departure will be reported within 48 hours with photos and estimate. The guest is liable for damage caused by themselves or accompanying persons.

8. Liability

SoussStays cannot be held liable for personal items lost or stolen, nor for temporary outages of electricity, water, or internet caused by public utility networks. We commit to responding promptly to any in-apartment incident.

9. Force majeure

In case of a force majeure event (natural disaster, health restrictions, major instability), we will offer to reschedule the stay or issue a refund depending on circumstances and applicable law.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Moroccan law. In case of dispute, the parties will seek an amicable resolution before any legal action.
